Did you know? The Nature Centre is offering 1 hour guided fieldtrips. These programs are perfect for groups of any age and are a great way to show your support while learning about our river valley. Programs take place entirely outdoors.
Join one of the Nature Centre's education staff & discover the amazing plants & animals found right here in Lethbridge! Choose from one of the following topics:
Marvelous Mammals – Discover the world of mammals big and small. Find out how to identify who is who.
Birds, Birds, Birds – The river valley is home to many different birds, some that stay year round & some that are here for part of the year. Discover some of the amazing birds that can be found right here in Lethbridge.
Plant Life – Lethbridge is home to more than 400 species of plants. Discover some of the amazing adaptations local plants have for surviving here in Southern Alberta.
Cottonwood Forest – Discover the only native tree species found in Lethbridge. Explore some of the creatures that depend on this cottonwood forest.
