Supporting the Outdoor Learning Classroom & Amphitheatre at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. This donation will support major capital enhancements of the Nature Centre - updating this important space for the next generation. Thank you for your support!

Alberta Ecotrust Foundation builds partnerships throughout Alberta between environmental organizations, corporations and others who support environmental action to fund and support effective grassroots environmental projects, build capacity and sustainability in the voluntary sector, and promote the environment as the foundation of a healthy community.

Oldman River Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada

Supporting programs like Extreme by Nature, Story Walk, and Mystery Walk (coming soon!), in addition to capital support of the new Outdoor Learning Classroom & Amphitheatre. Thank you for being an active supporter!

 

Rotary Club of Lethbridge East

Supporting youth environmental education program “Extreme by Nature,” this contribution helped us to deliver the “Inspired by Nature - Youth Art Exhibition” with 177+ participating youth artists to date! Rotary has been a fantastic supporter of the Nature Centre’s role in the community - connecting visitors and residents to the great outdoors.

City of Lethbridge

Through the annual Community Capital Project Grant (CCPG) the City of Lethbridge provided matching funding to support capital enhancement of the Outdoor Learning Classroom and Amphitheatre at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre - updating this important space for the next generation.

TD Canada Trust

Supporting youth environmental education program "Extreme by Nature" at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. This donation helped to provide this program at no charge, benefiting our community through monthly programs that help Lethbridge youth to discover the possibilities of environmental sciences and pursuits.

 

Farm Credit Canada

Supporting the Nature Centre volunteer program, Farm Credit Canada’s contribution will help ensure volunteers are well equipped to connect visitors to Lethbridge’s river valley! FCC is a fantastic supporter of our Nature Centre. Thank you FCC for supporting our volunteers.

Alberta Environment and Parks

We are proud to lead advocacy efforts to recognize the role of municipally funded nature-based interpretive centres resulting in significant funding from the Climate Leadership Plan! This will benefit all nature centres across Alberta.

Serving Communities Internship Program (SCIP)

Public Service Alliance of Canada - Alberta Members Agriculture Union 

Members provided a generous donation from the proceeds of their annual silent auction charity fundraiser in support of the Outdoor Learning Classroom & Amphitheatre project at the Nature Centre. Thanks to all PSAC Agriculture Union Members across Alberta!

ParticipACTION - Community Better Challenge

We are proud to receive support from ParticipACTION for Nature Play Day - a free community event designed to get everyone outside and moving! With this support we are hoping to position Lethbridge as Canada’s most active community!!

Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta

We are fortunate to receive funding from the Alberta Real Estate Foundation towards the Outdoor Classroom project at the Nature Centre! This funding will help us ensure the space is fully accessible and provide an amazing view for visitors and residents of Lethbridge.
