Get Outside 101
Nature Play Guides
With the support of Community Foundations of Canada and the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta, we worked with the team at Helen Schuler Nature Centre to develop, print, and distribute Get Outside 101 - Nature Play Guides. The objective was to promote the benefits of being outside in nature and provide practical ideas for parents and caregivers to get outside and engage in fun activities through the summer!
We printed 1,000 copies of each Nature Play Guide and distributed them directly to local families through the Mindful Munchies Program. They were also available as part of the August Activity Kit available directly from the Nature Centre distributed in 2020.
