Checklist of the Birds of the Lethbridge Area
Led by the Lethbridge Naturalists’ Society and in collaboration with the Helen Schuler Nature Centre, we are proud to partner in the second-edition of the Checklist of the Birds of the Lethbridge Area.
Thanks to the tremendous support of our Friends donors we were well positioned to work with the content, compiled by local naturalists Lloyd Bennett, Teresa Dolman, Ken Orich, and David Scott, as well as the team at Helen Schuler Nature Centre to further develop, print, and distribute the Checklist of the Birds of the Lethbridge Area.
The objective of this publication is to provide a practical tool for individuals to get outside and bird at local hotspots throughout the year. In addition we hope it will increase awareness of the tremendous biodiversity of our region!
We printed 1,000 copies of the Bird Checklists and are now distributing them in the community. Additional copies are available at the Nature Centre as part of their brochure collection.
