Little Free Library an excellent addition to the river valley

Helen Schuler Nature Centre volunteers Fran Leggett and Mary Anderson helped to fill the Little Free Library for the first time on September 1, 2023.

We are thrilled to announce the installation of a Little Free Library at the Information Kiosk at the Nature Centre!

The Information Kiosk at Helen Schuler Nature Centre provides an informative welcome that assists visitors plan their time in the river valley. The Friends of Society helped to raise funds to make this project possible!

The Little Free Library will provide a great opportunity for our community to share books focused on nature and the environment. Our hope is that people will bring a book to share AND borrow a book to enjoy!! 

We need your help to fill the Little Free Library.

• Do you have old guidebooks destined for good will?

• Do you have nature-focused children’s books that you need to find a new home for?

• Do you have environmental-themed books that you no longer want on your shelves?

Please note that we are not looking for textbooks or catalogues or magazines or newspapers. Just great books about nature and the environment.
