'Avian Summer' film screenings at the Nature Centre!

You asked, we listened! By popular demand we are hosting film screenings of the recently released ‘Avian Summer’ at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.

‘Avian Summer’ is a locally produced wildlife documentary by Rick Andrews. Discover the variety of birds that migrate to Southern Alberta each spring, where they come to find a mate and raise the next generation, before migrating again in the fall.

Proceeds from Avian Summer will benefit the Endowment Fund in support of nature-based interpretive programming at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.

Documentary film screening will take place at Helen Schuler Nature Centre. Limited seating is only available by reservation for the following dates and times:

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL

  • Maximum event capacity is 15 people;

  • Seats are only available by reservation (no drop-in or rush seating);

  • Film will be screened in the Main Gallery at the Nature Centre to allow maximum spacing;

  • Multiple screenings will be held to meet anticipated demand;

  • Face coverings mandatory while in the facility.

Rick Andrews is a conservation wildlife photographer and film maker from Southern Alberta. His videos and photos help audiences connect with the diversity of wildlife while encouraging the protection, conservation, and restoration of our natural world for the ongoing enjoyment of future generations.
