Co-op Community Classroom almost complete!

If you have walked through the Lethbridge Nature Reserve Park you have likely noticed the construction fences have been removed at the site of the new and improved Co-op Community Classroom.

The project is almost complete!

As a result of the global pandemic our project schedule was delayed. We had to patiently wait several months for the arrival of a critical piece that would be embedded into the concrete. The project was unable to proceed until it arrived. However, once we had all materials our construction team, led by Caliber Landscaping, did an amazing job of transforming the space.

If you explore the space today you may notice there are some unfinished pieces. It may take some time for the final pieces to be installed due to weather conditions (we planned to be done before the snow arrived!). We appreciate your patience. We also appreciate you letting us know what you think as you explore the outdoor classroom.

Thanks to all our project supporters! The space looks amazing so far!! We cannot wait to share this with our community!!!

Stay tuned for details as we officially celebrate the new and improved Co-op Community Classroom in 2021.

It is fascinating to see people stop by and inspect the space - testing out the different seats, exploring the space and touching everything, and enjoying the view!
