Friends of the Helen Schuler Nature Centre Society is an independent Canadian charity based in Lethbridge, Alberta, offering public benefit to our community by advancing education on the local natural environment through events, programs, publications, and workshops.
We are actively involved in our community, promoting the importance of nature appreciation and connection. However, our Society does not offset the capital and operational requirements of the Helen Schuler Nature Centre. Instead we provide enhancements, for the benefit of the community, that would not otherwise be available. We help make the Nature Centre an even better public resource!

In partnership with Environment Lethbridge we are pleased to offer this workshop opportunity. Using an appreciative inquiry model, this workshop uses personal storytelling to help you explore your connection to the natural world and give you confidence to make future contributions as a climate leader.
Inspired by Nature is a showcase of youth artists in the Community Art Gallery at the Nature Centre. Participating artists are invited to “find their muse” in nature, then create something that would inspire others to spend more time outside. Submissions can be mixed media, including: art, music, photography, videography, or writing.
