Did you know? Over the past year the Friends of HSNC Society has been actively fundraising for a new and improved Outdoor Learning Classroom & Amphitheatre at the Nature Centre! We are now ready to announce the project to the community with significant funding support from some amazing local sponsors.

Join us to learn about this important project, explore concept designs, hear from our project supporters, enjoy a community BBQ, and then help to improve our river valley by assisting with a Shoreline Clean-Up!

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event on Thursday June 27 starting at 12:30pm. There will be lots of family activities at the Nature Centre during the event, in addition to the Pollinator exhibition inside!

Itinerary

12:30pm - BBQ at the Nature Centre (for first 200 people)

1:30pm - Project Announcement & Major Cheque Presentation

2:00pm - Shoreline Clean-Up
