This clever bird is able to survive year-round in Lethbridge by hiding its food in many different caches in the fall. Many people can easily recognize the chickadee’s alarm call - which resembles its name - but did you know that the more “dees” there are at the end of the call, the bigger the threat is to the chickadee? How scared do you think this chickadee was?
