Snake Safety at UofL

  • University of Lethbridge 4401 University Drive West Lethbridge, AB, T1K Canada (map)

Join the Friends of the Helen Schuler Nature Centre Society and the University of Lethbridge's Health & Wellness team on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 from 12 pm – 1pm in L1114 for a Snake Safety presentation.

The University of Lethbridge’s unique coulee location puts us right in the heart of things and we often enjoy wildlife on campus. One coulee dweller who might concern us is the rattlesnake!

Rattlesnakes are out and about - this session will offer excellent information about our slithering neighbours, as well as give tips and tricks for co-existing in peace.

Bring your lunch and join us for this session! Everyone is welcome to attend!

Friends of the Helen Schuler Nature Centre Society guest speaker Ken Moore, UofL Alumnus ’88 & local naturalist specializing in snakes will share some important information to help you feel more comfortable living with our wild neighbours.
